MOTHER ELVIRA SCHOLARSHIP   PURPOSE: To recognize and encourage academic achievement of students with a one time supplemental monetary award to be submitted to a highter learning institution. This is an investment by the family in the educational pursuits of those who will return and benefit our communities with their learned skills and expertise. CRITERIA: Must be accepted into or attending an accredited vocational, buisness institution or two - four year college. Must maintain a 2.0 GPA Standard and conduct should be that of a viable family member. (i.e. attendance, dues, etc) applicants must submit letter of recommendation from school and church. PROCESS: The applicant must submit an application to scholarship committee. Application must be received by March 31 of the Mother Elvira Reunion.  Awards will be presented at the Mother Elvira Family Reunion in Myrtle Beach, SC. Application must be documented with letter of acceptance into an accredited intstitution for entering students.
